Discover Sarasota Tours is hosting its 3rd Annual Trolley Bash, a customer and local partner appreciation party at its trolley cottage on November 4th from 4:30-6:30 p.m., with net proceeds benefitting the Historical Society of Sarasota County.

Tickets are just $20 and include: Beer or wine in the Tiki Bar, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches from Big Blue food truck, ice cream treats from The ChillMobile, holiday shopping in the Vintage Sarasota Gift Shop, and a fun program, “Retro Road Mapping Vintage Florida, from nationally renowned Pennsylvania travel writer Beth Lennon, also known as “Mod Betty.” In addition, our new 31-person Village trolley named Dolly the Trolley will make her debut!

Lennon’s Retro Roadmap book series helps travelers discover cool vintage places that have stood the test of time while still retaining their authentic charm—mom and pop shops, diners, theaters, motels, downtowns, and events that give off a groovy step-back-in-time vibe.

“We are so excited to be celebrating three years in business with our post-pandemic party welcoming our new trolley and Mod Betty to Sarasota,” said Discover Sarasota Tours CEO Tammy Hauser. “We have a lot to celebrate this year and so are planning a big fun shindig for all our loyal guests. We also want to support the Historical Society of Sarasota County because together, we help visitors and locals discover the wonderful history of Sarasota on our 18 different tours,” she added.

The Trolley Bash begins at 4:30 p.m. and runs until 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Discover Sarasota Tours Trolley Cottage at 1826 4th Street in the historic district, with ample FREE parking for guests. Tickets are $20 and include all activities but are limited to 200 guests, and reservations are required.
