A Dine Along Trolley Tour aboard Discover Sarasota Tours’ Dolly the Trolley is beginning Nov. 30 in Sarasota and continuing every other Wednesday year round with departures from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The fun new foodie venture features progressive dining at three downtown restaurants, plus a bit of history by local chef and tour guide Kelley Hawks. It is presented in partnership with Sunset Food Tours.

Kay added that he’s very excited to have everyone on the new Dine Along Trolley Tour try a variety of Sarasota’s local dishes and learn about the history and culture of the area.

The festive event begins in the Trolley Cottage Gift Shop, 1826 4th St., where there is free parking and free beer and wine in the tiki bar before boarding the trolley. The tour includes visits to Tex-Mex restaurant Circo for appetizers, Bavaro’s for Neapolitan pizza and The Reserve for Key lime pie. Beverages at the restaurants, other than water, must be purchased.

The downtown gastronomic tour includes parking, the beer and wine at the departure site, food at the restaurants, the tour and transport. Price per person is $99.99 (plus tax and a handling fee).
