Led by guide Bob Collins, Ringling Bros. former Head of Advancement for 20 years, this 90-minute trolley tour uncovers the rich circus legacy of Venice, from landmark stories to key historical sites tied to Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey.

The experience features a 30-minute stop at the historic train depot and Ringling train car museum, where local docents share detailed accounts of the venues and their role in circus history.

A donation is made to the Venice Area Historical Society in appreciation of their docent partnership. Combine with the morning Venice City Sightseeing Tour at 10am for a full day of exploration. Relieve the magic of the circus!

Great circus memories
The Venice Circus tour was interesting and informative. Our tour guide, Bob, really knows the circus history well and relates it in an enthusiastic way. There are not many circus remnants still remaining, but Bob brings a lot of it to life through memories. The circus train car is also fun to visit as is the train station. Venice is a beautiful town that still has some Florida charm of yesteryears. Well worth your time. — Trish H. (Jan 2025)
