Discover Sarasota Tours launches a fun new way to explore the city’s colorful history on Friday nights: “Infamous Sarasota” — The Throwback Happy Hour Tour.
Relive the glory days of Sarasota’s sunny and scandalous 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s with tour guide Jonny Mac! Hear stories of Sarasota’s growth boom, its legendary bars, and the fascinating people who frequented them.
Tickets include complimentary beer or wine at the Trolley Cottage Tiki Bar before boarding.
The tour visits the arts district and other historic neighborhoods, the site of the old Sawmill Inn, and places like St Armands Circle, downtown Sarasota, the Southside neighborhood, the Bahi Hut, and North Trail.

|DEPARTURE/RETURN LOCATION||1826 4th Street in Sarasota (behind The Breakfast House off Fruitville)|
|ARRIVING||Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour leaves, to check in and visit our gift shop while you wait to board. Trolleys leave at your scheduled time. If you don’t arrive within 5 minutes of departure time, we reserve the right to resell your ticket.|
|PARKING||FREE shaded parking is available!|
|ACCESSIBILITY||We have two trolleys that are wheelchair accessible but they may not always be available; if you need a wheelchair or are bringing a group of people who need a wheelchair lift or need to remain in their wheelchairs for the tour, please email email@example.com.|
|THINGS TO NOTE||This is a non-stop tour and you should expect to be seated for the whole trip.|
|CANCELLATION||Book with confidence! We run tours as scheduled rain or shine. If you cancel in advance or miss your tour and are able to take a future tour, we will do our best to accommodate you based on available space. However, all sales are final and we do not provide refunds for no-shows/tours you booked and missed. If we must cancel a tour for any reason, we will give you as much notice as possible and try to move you to another tour date, provide a gift certificate for a future tour or refund your ticket.|
